If your baby tends to fall sideways, this may not offer the protection you're hoping for — it works best for babies who fall backwards. For those little ones, it does a lovely job cushioning the head and back during tumbles. One more thing to keep in mind: the product looks larger in the photos than it actually is in person, so manage your size expectations before purchasing.
